Colefax & Fowler

Colefax and Fowler was founded in 1834, the result of a collaboration between the young Chelsea decorator John Fowler and the well-connected interior designer Lady Sibyl Colefax. The company became known for its distinctive style, a meeting of the country house and the romantic elegance of the Eighteenth Century. Today, Colefax and Fowler takes on special commissions that range from grand country homes, to city clubs, to yachts.
