Jane Churchill

Jane Churchill is one of Britain’s leading interior designers. She started her own business at the age of 21 when she opened a gift shop called Treasure Island in London’s Pimlico Road, having previously worked for Colefax and Fowler. She began taking on decorating commissions, and in 1982 re-opened as Jane Churchill Design, offering her own range of fabrics and wallpapers. In 1989 she sold her business to Colefax and Fowler, and has since built up her own independent decorating business. She presents the Granada television series ‘Finishing Touches’.
