Manuel Canovas

Manuel Canovas was founded by Monsieur Manuel Canovas in Paris in 1963. Manuel Canovas showed an interest in drawing and the use of colour from an early age. His passionate interest in botany was encouraged by his father, a painter and author, who guided his studies in that direction. With formal training at the “Beaux-Arts de Paris” and the “Beaux-Arts de Rome” where he studied architecture, painting, drawing and archaeology, he setup his own company to produce decorative fabrics and waIlcoverings.

His style developed over the years and he became renowned world-wide for his beautiful colours, unique floral and luxurious weaves. Each new collection continues the spirit and design philosophy of its founder Manuel Canovas, yet also offers new innovative textures and colours.
